Medicine Connect Sunrise Scholarship

The Medicine Connect Sunrise Scholarship encourages young people to learn, share, serve, lead, and make a positive impact on healthier communities. The program is open to middle school, high school, college, and medical school students. We warmly welcome all students, regardless of background, to participate.

1. Health & Medical Knowledge Communication Scholarship — 3 Awards × $500

This scholarship recognizes students who help make reliable health and medical knowledge easier for the public to understand. Students may submit health education articles or blogs to Medicine Connect for professional review and publication. Selection is based on the quality and number of accepted articles, medical accuracy, educational value, and community impact.

2. Community Health Contribution Scholarship — 3 Awards × $500

This scholarship recognizes students who make meaningful contributions to community health through volunteering, health fairs, health education, outreach, leadership, and other health-related service. Activities may be through Medicine Connect or other organizations. Selection is based on participation, leadership and initiative, community impact, and sustained commitment—not simply volunteer hours or titles.

Everyone is welcome to participate. Whether you enjoy writing and sharing health knowledge, serving your community, taking on leadership, or doing all of these, we encourage you to get involved and make a difference.
