Advisory Board Members
The advisory board members work in partnership with the ANACP and are ambassadors of the MC organization in their community.
Position description, eligibility, and responsibilities
- Age 13-18
- Has worked for ANACP and/or MC over three months
- Attend 75% of advisory board meetings and important related meetings
- Commit to participate actively in community
- Volunteers for and willingly accept assignments and complete them thoroughly and on time
- Stay informed about the community measures, prepare for meetings, the reviews/comments minutes and the report
- Collaborated with the community members and feels a collegial working relationship that contributes to MC
- One-year commitment
Advisory Board Chair
The advisory board chair works in partnership with ANACP to ensure the success of the advisory board, problem, and overall development goals.
Position Descriptions
- Age 14-18
- Has been a member of the advisory board for six months
- Leads all advisory board meetings after developing the agenda
- Assures that the advisory board fulfills all responsibilities by holding them accountable
- Works with their staff partner to keep the members of the advisory board informed and knowledgeable of expectations
- Annual performance report
- Future plans and development
- One-year commitment
Advisory Board Vice-Chair
The advisory board vice chair works collaboratively with advisory board chair and ANACP staff to transition to chair once the current chair roles off
Position Description:
- Age 14-18
- Is a member of the advisory board for at least six months
- Performed chair’s responsibility when they cannot be available
- Report to the advisory board chair
- Participated closely with the chair to watch for the well-being of the board
- Annual performance report
- Future plans and development
- One-year commitment
